I was a little worried when I first started reading this. I don't think I've ever read a strictly sci-fi book, and while I knew that's what this book was when I decided to review it, it still scared me. Along with that, the book wasn't really pulling me into it. So, how on Earth did it get four stars?

It was refreshing to read a book from a boys point of view. A boy that actually acted his age at that! He didn't have to be an adult, he acted like a scared teenager, adjusting to a very new life after the death of his mother.


I absolutely loved the idea of living on a spaceship and with the way the author described it, you actually felt like you were there. She had a way of making everything seem believable, which was shocking.


This book would be great for any sci-fi, adventure lover!


I will most definitely reading the prequel and sequel to this novel.I'm pretty sure Debbie is in the process of writing them now! I should also have an interview with her up soon!

 Hmm, this one's kind of tough... There are so many things that I could've left an emotional imprint on...

Most likely any book I've ever read. It might sound weird, but I always, and yes I do mean always, learn something from them, even if the book isn't the greatest. 

My ipod would be another great way to slip into my mind. If I'm not reading then I'm listening to it, sometimes I even do both. 

I've always been someone who would rather escape into a different world, music and reading have always done that for me.

Juliet Immortal is an alternate retelling of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. While I’ve never read it, the story always fascinated me.

I loved this novel. From Stacey Jay’s amazing writing to the original plot that had me hooked from page one.

This book was full of twists and turns - that while I probably should have - I never saw coming.

The characters were brilliant. Juliet was smart and caring. She kicked butt and had a fire that helped with her ongoing battle against Romeo, a character you want so badly to hate, but really just pity.

Then there’s Ben (insert swoon here) who I fell in love with almost instantly.

While Juliet Immortal is great stand alone novel, I cannot explain how happy I was when I found out that there will be a sequel called Romeo Redeemed.

Dark and thrilling, The Unseen is a book that will keep you on your toes.

The story is mainly told from the point-of-view of Lucy, a teenage girl sent to live with her robotic aunt after the death of her mother.

This novel has an interesting plot full of twists. You think you've figured it out, only to start doubting yourself a few pages later.  


The characters were well written and thought out, making you want to laugh or cry with them. My only problem was Lucy's naivety, but I suppose that's what makes her who she is.


I cannot wait to read the next book, The Unseen 2.

I absolutely loved reading Heavenly. I've recently fallen in love with all books angel related and this is no exception.

The main character, Zoe,starts off as a self absorbed teenager, her only concern being who she was going to hook up with and where to find her next drink. It was amazing watching her change throughout the course of the novel.

The book was so realistic, from living with an autistic child to a very believable guardian angel, you can't help but wish was real.

The story had a way of drawing you in from the first page and an end with a surprising twist that made me want to read the second book, Penitence, so much more.

What would a person from the future who stumbled on your music player find? 

Mayday Parade:  I found this band about a year ago and have fallen head over heels in love with them. The band is so amazing, whenever I hear them I can't help but start to sing!

Breathe Carolina: I've just recently heard about them, but that hasn't stopped them from going to the top of my favorites!

All Time Low: This is my go to feel better music. The music is amazing and the lyrics always make smile.
